Summer Camp + Ambassador = Campbassador
Campbassadors are high school interns and the official student leaders of the Northwest School, enthusiastically providing outreach to all campers in fun and innovative ways.
Campbassador Responsibilities
- Serve as student role model
- Take a Campbassador only course in leadership development
- Implement community outreach project
- Design and run Community Meeting
- Provide teaching assistance in ESL courses
- Staff the camp store
Campbassador Qualifications
- Must be rising sophomore, junior, or senior
- Fluency in English with strong oral and written communication skills
- Have studied at least one year of language other than English or have equivalent skills
- Comfort with public leadership, interest in outreach and service
- In good academic standing at current high school
- Available for the duration of the Summer Camp
- Complete the application process
Campbassadors will receive internship hours and can take a Summer Camp course of their choosing at no cost.
Campbassadors need to be available to work from June 27–August 10. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
