Middle School teams practice during the school day, leaving students free to play on outside teams after school or to participate in other activities. Our sports program offers a rich variety of opportunities in local community facilities.
The Northwest School competes with other schools/teams in soccer, basketball, ultimate frisbee, cross‐country, bowling, and sometimes track & field. Students have practices and/or games during their scheduled physical education class times. Depending on the sport, games may take place after school and/or weekends. At the Middle School level, our philosophy is participatory as well as competitive, so all team members will play in each game if they are in good standing.
